ABOUT SEYI

Working where people,
data and systems meet.

I am an Information Management, MEAL, Data Analytics and GIS professional. My work brings together programme evidence, digital systems, research and spatial analysis across humanitarian response, public health and development.

MY PATH

From biochemistry
to information systems.

My academic foundation is in biochemistry. Research work with Jhpiego introduced me to field data collection, qualitative analysis and the practical challenges of producing useful public-health evidence.

At Palladium’s Data.FI project, my work expanded into national health information systems, analytics, GIS and government capacity building. At the Danish Refugee Council, I supported a multi-donor country portfolio spanning EU SPADS, FCDO, GERF, MSF and BHA-funded work, before an additional interim NEWCAP ECHO consortium assignment. My responsibilities included profiling, livelihoods tools, cash targeting, geospatial mapping, accountability systems, reporting automation and staff capacity building.

Today, my work with 3iS centres on integrated health and nutrition systems: translating programme requirements into functional designs, connecting platforms and supporting testing, governance and adoption.

HOW I WORK

Start with the decision.
Build the system around it.

01

Understand the context

Listen to field teams and stakeholders. Clarify the workflow, the information gaps and the decisions that need support.

02

Make the data dependable

Connect collection design, shared definitions, validation and governance so the information is fit for use.

03

Support the people

Pair systems with practical documentation, training, testing and ongoing feedback.

A PRACTICAL TOOLKIT

Capabilities first.
Tools in service of them.

Systems & collectionDHIS2, NOMIS, LAMISplus, ActivityInfo, KoboToolbox, ODK, REDCap, CSPro, CommCare

Analytics & automationPython, R, SQL/PostgreSQL, Power BI, Power Automate, Excel, Stata, SPSS, Tableau

Spatial & qualitative analysisArcGIS, QGIS, NVivo, ATLAS.ti

MONITORING, EVALUATION, ACCOUNTABILITY & LEARNING

Evidence that supports
better programmes.

My MEAL work includes results monitoring, assessment design, data quality, programme reporting and evaluation support. I connect these activities with practical tools for collecting, analysing and using evidence.

Experience with community feedback mechanisms, post-distribution monitoring and humanitarian profiling complements my work in health information systems. Across these roles, I support teams through training, documentation and data use.
