ORGANISATION ECHO consortium · Danish Refugee Council
ROLE Interim Consortium Information Management Specialist
PERIOD May–July 2026

The context

After supporting DRC’s country portfolio across multiple donors, I took on an additional interim assignment with the NEWCAP ECHO Consortium, May–July 2026. I developed ActivityInfo collection and reporting workflows and provided RRM technical support. This work connected beneficiary targeting, data-quality checks, sector reporting and team capacity.

My contribution

  1. ECHO consortium platform and RRM support. Developed the ECHO consortium ActivityInfo platform and supported Rapid Response Mechanism (RRM) technical workflows. Built R cleaning and deduplication scripts connected to ActivityInfo to flag data inconsistencies and support data-quality review.
  2. Beneficiary targeting and automation. Developed automated Python scripts to generate beneficiary distribution lists. Programmed and automated scoring criteria in Kobo tools to support consistent vulnerability assessment and beneficiary targeting.
  3. Sector tools and accountability. Developed Crisis Modifier tools, multipurpose cash assistance (MPCA) tools, post-distribution monitoring tools and the Multi-Sectoral Needs Assessment (MSNA). Developed the community feedback mechanism to support accountability and programme follow-up.
  4. Integrated reporting. Connected both ActivityInfo and Kobo directly to Power BI through APIs. Built dashboards for sector teams and management, with automated refresh scheduled every six hours, daily.
  5. Governance, coordination and capacity building. Established DRC Nigeria’s Data Management SOP. Trained and supported staff and partners on ActivityInfo, collection design, scoring, analysis and visualisation; documented workflows and supported technical handover. Represented DRC in migrant-survey technical coordination.
